Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential car buying leads and sources
- Chat with potential sellers online with regular follow up
- Contact and engage with individuals looking to sell their vehicles
- Schedule and conduct meetings with car sellers, sometimes requiring visits to their homes or offices
- Perform vehicle inspections, assess condition, and negotiate fair prices
- Verify ownership and legal documentation for each transaction
- Ensure timely completion of all necessary paperwork and transactions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and vehicle specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the car buying process
- Collaborate with the dealership’s finance and administrative teams to finalize transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive sales, car buying, or related fields
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Attention to detail and ability to assess the condition of vehicles
- Familiarity with legal documentation related to car sales
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work both in an office environment and travel to meet clients when required
